About the Room Location
A Javanese gladak house, raised on stilts above the mangrove - the traditional timber frame of Indonesia’s own architecture, brought here whole and given a second life. It is a homage, and it is also a very beautiful place to sleep. Aged teak throughout, a canopy daybed, antique furnishings and chandeliers. The bathroom holds a soaking tub and a rain shower, and the private veranda opens onto the greenery. Ninety square metres of timber and quiet.

Inspired by the rich heritage of Balinese performing arts, the Sangitani Teak House at Balquisse Heritage Hotel Jimbaran Bali reflects the elegance and rhythm of traditional music and dance. Named after “sangit,” a root word tied to melody, this boutique room is crafted from teak wood and features intricate decor reminiscent of Bali’s cultural expression—offering guests a unique Jimbaran stay immersed in heritage and artistic beauty.
